Denaturation of Proteins

Physical conditions, chemical conditions, pH, salt concentration, temperature, and various other environmental factors can cause the denaturation of a protein. Denaturation is the loss of a protein's structure, as it has unraveled from the shape it should be in. Chaperonin refold denatured proteins[polypeptide] by creating a hydrophobic environment.
